Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) has big plans for the forthcoming show, which will include the launch of new products, demonstrations of integrated solutions and its Stampede-to-Dubai channel reseller workshop. The Microsoft business unit, which was only formed a little over a year ago offers a collection of applications to the small and medium business.

“Microsoft Business Solutions will make Gitex 2002 its biggest and best Gitex, with new products and unprecedented levels of customer and channel partner participation expected,” claims Venkat Raman, regional manager of Microsoft Business Solutions Middle East.

The vendor is also planning to showcase the fruits of its recent Navision acquisition. The software giant plans to showcase Navision’s Axapta supply chain management application and its Attain manufacturing module. The company will also be educating exhibition attendees on the benefit of its customer relationship management (CRM) application, which is based on the vendor’s .NET platform.

“Microsoft CRM Management will increase customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and create more profitable customer relationships for companies that deploy the solution,” says Chris Harris, regional director, Microsoft Business Solutions Middle East & Africa.

“The introduction of the new CRM offering represents a substantial business opportunity for our partners to deliver an entirely new category of integrated solutions specifically designed for the unique needs of our small and medium sized customers in the region,” Harris adds.
