After a boom year that has seen the organisation expand its business interests into Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, the security systems integrator plans to offer its range of services and products to various industry verticals, including government, telecos, banking & finance, airlines and other large corporate organisations.

“Leadership in the information security business in the region is what Paramount is aiming for,” says company CEO, Premchand Kurup.
“The key to the realisation of such an aspiration is the quality of our human capital. I want everyone in our company thinking about the future, everyone amazing customers and everyone managing the bottom line,” he adds.

Paramount’s security solutions are based on a collection of best of breed products, including two factor authentication from RSA Security, WebSense’s employee internet management technologies, anti-virus from Trend Micro, intrusion detection from ISS, firewalls from StoneSoft, threat management systems from E-Security and end point security from ZoneLabs.

Paramount ties all its products together through an association with security services vendor, @stake and EAP Global. Security services available from these vendors include penetration testing, risk assessment, vulnerability assessment, policy formulation and process design, gap analysis and BS7799 consulting services, security architecture design and business continuity planning. Aside from certified training for products from RSA, Trend, Stonesoft and others, Paramount also organises general-purpose training for CISSP certification, BS7799 lead auditor, business continuity planning and information security fundamentals.
