KnowledgeView is appearing in Oracle’s Open World with a host of content management and syndication solutions. The vendor is targeting local content providers, enterprises, web communities and commerce portals for its high end application portfolio.

Topping KnowledgeView’s agenda is new versions of Rapid Publish and Rapid News, which have been developed to serve the media, governments and B2B commerce markets.

KnowledgeView has developed the Rapid products to handle content acquisition, management, publishing and syndication. Rapid Publish is a content management and cross-media publishing system designed to help publishers increase productivity and create revenue opportunities. The application gives editors and managers advanced tools for viewing, managing, publishing and trading of content.

“Gitex Dubai 2002 provides us with a strategic platform to showcase and demonstrate our Rapid systems for media, government and enterprises,” says Ammar Al Assam, director of the Middle East operations of KnowledgeView.

“It enables us to pursue our goal of consolidating our position in the market following a number of wins in recent times. We will use this event to highlight our solutions that enable our customers to collect news content from multiple sources, enhance it editorially and create targeted and personalised value-added content services delivered through multiple channels such as web, PDA, SMS, e-mail, 3D Avatars and syndication,” he adds.

KnowledgeView will use Gitex as a springboard to launch its Saudi operations. The vendor plans to officially announce its Riyadh office, complete with a full team of staff to support local customers.
