Oracle beats the e-business drum in hall five

Oracle is sending out a strong e-business message at this year’s show. The application vendor plans to host a number of seminars to show visitors the strength of its product suite.

Oracle is sending out a strong e-business message at this year’s show. The application vendor plans to host a number of seminars to show visitors the strength of its product suite.

Oracle Open World will feature a set of solutions leveraging on the vendor’s e-business portfolio including Oracle9i Database, Oracle9i Application Server, Oracle9i Developer Suite and the recently announced Oracle Collaboration Suite.

The vendor is also planning to run its Oracle University during the course of the show. “Genius is the ability to make the complicated simple,” says Ayman Abouseif, senior marketing director for Eastern, Central Europe and Middle East, Africa at Oracle Corporation.

“That’s the guiding principle that drives all technological innovation at Oracle. As we consistently simplify the way the world conducts business, companies in this region have the chance to spend less and know more by focusing all their capital and talent on becoming a market leader through e-business,” he adds.
