DTK showcases full hardware arsenal

DTK is bringing its full array of computing hardware to Gitex. The vendor’s PC range will cover a long list of different configurations, targeted at specific segments of the local market.

DTK is bringing its full array of computing hardware to Gitex. The vendor’s PC range will cover a long list of different configurations, targeted at specific segments of the local market. Headlining on the hardware vendor’s stand is the dual Xeon-based Gràfika 860Pro workstation designed for professionals demanding performance and specialised processing abilities. Built around Intel 860 chipset, the 860Pro includes features such as single or dual Xeon processors up to 2.4 GHz, 256/512 K/bytes cache processors operating on a 400 MHz system bus with a maximum 4 G/bytes of high performance RDRAM memory. The 860Pro also touts an integrated IEEE802.3 10-BaseT & 100-BaseTX PHY Intel 82550EL 10/100 LAN Controller, with wake-on-LAN support and Adaptec Ultra-160 SCSI controller on board supporting dual channel with Ultra-320 upgradeability.

DTK also plans to demo its vertically focused e-solutions at the show. According to the vendor, the machines are ideal for education, banking and certain small to medium business (SMBs) segments.

In terms of notebooks, DTK will introduce its range of light and slim Mobile Pentium 4-based machines designed for the road warriors. In addition, the vendor is strengthening its MaxForce range of business notebooks by introducing the Pentium 4 Mobile processor. The hardware player is demonstrating its VistaPro range of mid to high-end 4-way and 2-way servers.

DTK is also launching Pentium 4 based servers, the Cosmos 45E1, an entry-level server with management software capabilities.
