Swift Freight International is extending its links with the region’s IT industry around the Gitex period.

The third party logistics company is promoting its gigafreight@swift service — a customised logistics package targeted at local hardware and software distributors.

The service, which is only initially running between September and November has been designed after an extensive market survey.
The service hopes to reduce the supply chain efficiencies faced by many local distributors, providing them a new rate structure, time definite deliveries, priority shipping, 24 hour helpdesk service, track & trace options, urgent invoicing and an operations support team.

“In launch[ing] this new service [we are] providing a solution that suits the client and his specific industry requirements. We believe that one can not be serious about client satisfaction if the solution offered is generic in nature,” says Vincent Brank, general manager sales, Swift Freight International.
