In line with its existing policy of providing unparalleled customer service, AVS Graphics and Media, which has its headquarters in Salt Lake City, USA, has opened a European office in Farnham, UK.

Building on the established reputation of its ManuScript character generator and StillBank still store, AVS is now focusing on the European and Middle Eastern markets to meet growing demand for cost-effective graphics generators and related products.

"Our continuing goal is to develop top-flight products that are easy to use," says AVS executive officer Gavin Hunter. "We realise that not all AVS customers are going to be large broadcasters with dedicated CG operators. Often there are a number of different people operating the CG or still store so it is imperative that the product be simple enough for any member of staff to use."
