UAE-based pay TV operator Showtime Television has launched a new Home Cinema pre-pay card system which, the platform claims, will make ordering pay-per-view movies quick and easy for subscribers who usually pay by cash.

“While the Home Cinema service has proved a tremendous success since it was launched in March, viewers who pay by cash have had to carefully plan their viewing schedule,” says Cliff Nelson, Showtime SVP, marketing and sales.

“The pre-paid card gives viewers who pay by cash greater freedom to choose the film they wish to watch at the time they find most convenient. It’s their passport to the very best movies available on television,” Nelson concludes.

The cards - available in three denominations of one, five and ten Home Cinema credits – are now available at Showtime kiosks, sales booths and selected Showtime distributors.
