Emirates Internet and Multimedia (EIM) has re-designed both its corporate site and bi-lingual portal, Albahhar.com. In addition to improving the look and feel, there are a number of new features and while the content of both sites has been beefed up.

The ISP says that the sites have been re-developed with the customer in mind and, as such, usability, site navigation and download times have been vastly improved. EIM claims that no information is more than two clicks away from the front page.

Specific changes to the EIM site include the provision of specific account information for EIM subscribers, where they can access their e-mail, their EIM account, search the web or check on the services EIM offers while the Albahhar portal has been refined with the addition of jokes, career information and a regional classified section.

“These changes are essential as more and more people in region sign up to EIM’s Internet services and access our Albahhar portal”, says Maroua Naim, general manager, EIM.

“Both sites combined see more than 450,000 individual visits per month, and it is our responsibility to ensure every user has a positive experience in terms of usability, access to content and ease of communication,” she adds.
