Responding to customer demands for enhanced network security and ease-of-use, Allot Communications has addded two extra models to its NetEnforcer bandwidth management device family.

According to the vendor, the AC-302 and AC-402 models will offer lower operating costs and ease of installation and maintenance for both enterprise and public network segements.

While the AC-302 is capable of handling network traffic up to 45 M/bits/s, the AC-402 can handle traffic up to 100 M/bits/s. Both models, however, feature an additional Ethernet port to enable network administrators to separate users and management processes.

Both models also feature LCD panels for displaying traffic usage, a key pad to facilitate the configuration process and the ability to reboot, start and shutdown from the front panel.

“Allot has developed its NetEnforcer [AC-302 and AC-402] models in response to our customers’ requirements for enhanced network security, as well as to simplify network operation. Allot offers a complete solution for policy-based networking that reduces the cost of ownership for our customers,” claims Udi Levin, Allot’s director of product management.
