Al Faris signs partnership agreement with BEA Systems

BEA's WebLogic Enterprise platform adds application development and integration to Kuwaiti systems integrators' product portfolio.

Al Faris Technology has added BEA’s WebLogic Enterprise platform to its e-business portfolio. The Kuwaiti company has been building its range of web services and integration capabilities for the past year as it attempts to position itself as a leading systems integrator.

Al Faris is already working with BEA to develop and deliver several enterprise projects based on the WebLogic platform.

“We have chosen to partner with BEA to compliment of solution portfolio in the area of integration and web services,” comments Haitham Al Faris, president & CEO of Al Faris Information Technologies.

“BEA Enterprise Platform enables us to seamlessly integrate our e-Business solutions with clients existing applications and to webify their legacy systems,” adds Al Faris.

BEA’s business development manager, Diyaa Zebian adds, “we are aggressively approaching Kuwait’s potential market… starting by [signing] a reliable partner, such as Al Faris Technologies. We are confident that Al Faris is professional, committed and well-positioned to deliver BEA’s solutions in terms of web-services and integration.”

BEA’s WebLogic Enterprise Platform adds a critical development and integration environment to Al Fares product portfolio. The systems integrator plans to use the platform to connect web-based applications back to business critical legacy applications.
