High availability solutions developer Quest Software has appointed Target Automation (TA) as a regional distributor, as part of its Middle East channel expansion drive. Quest is increasing its distribution network in the region to cater for a growing demand for enterprise monitoring and high availability solutions, the company said.

TA becomes the authorised business representative for Quest in the Middle East, apart from Saudi Arabia. It will be responsible for the Quest range, that includes application availability management software for a wide range of applications.

Prkash Ivaturi, general manager of TA said: “Quest was looking for a partner that would grow the business and continue to provide the level of technical expertise and support that its customers have received directly from the UK office. The companies and infrastructure agencies in the region have been adding new hardware and software applications to build up the infrastructure but, the time has now come to look at high availability options, monitoring, disaster recovery and contingency planning. We anticipate a 200% growth in deployment of our management and high availability tools in the region.”

Quest has also been promoting its range recently with a Dubai road show, to demonstrate the capabilities of its products to management from the government and private sectors.
