Thuraya implements Vertscape CRM solution

Thuraya, the satellite communication provider, has implemented a CRM solution from Vertscape, which includes modules to facilitate internal communications.

Thuraya, the satellite communication provider, has implemented a CRM solution from Vertscape. Called the XeRM eBusiness suite, the web-enabled solution was chosen for a number of reasons including: 'the ability of the solution to be implemented comprehensively, rapidly and feasibly’ according to Thuraya.

“We are extremely happy to have worked with a professional organisation like Vertscape that has devised and implemented a tailor-made cost-effective solution in such a short space of time,” said Sana Bagersh, marketing manager, Thuraya.

Bagersh explained that the solution has multiple benefits for the company as it has allowed executives to get a better view of customers’ interactions with the company thereby allowing better relationships with customers to be built. “And with less administrative workload, our personnel can now collaborate, share ideas and customer knowledge therefore standardising best practice across the organisation and instituting robust information management,” he added.

Vertscape has worked with Thuraya before on an e-shop that the Vertscape designed and implemented. Chirag Patel, co-founder and director of Vertscape, commented that that solution had been delivered in less than one month at a cost that was substantially cheaper than competitors, whom he believed would have taken anything up to ten months to deliver a similar system.

“This agreement has served to strengthen our existing ties with Thuraya and laid the foundation for a long-term relationship with them,” he said of the CRM solution.

The modules included in the solution should allow Thuraya to keep track of any customer issue internally through an improved workflow system and give customers a unified point of contact for the company, whether they are a service provider or individual customer. It will also the various departments within Thuraya better access and management of information.
