Citrix has opened its regional office at Dubai Internet City (DIC), in an effort to capitalise on the ‘upward trend’ in the market and meet strong local demand.

Previously, the vendor has been represented in the Middle East through its partners for the last five years.

“The opening of our Middle East office has been a natural progression,” says Antoine Aguado, sales manager, Citrix Systems Middle East.

“Although Citrix has been operating in the region for the last five years, a [local] office that serviced clients from the physical area did not exist. Now we cannot ignore the upward trend in the market, the demand from our customers has been tremendous. To show our long term commitment to these customers and the region, we have opened an office to service this vast base,” he adds.

Citrix’s DIC base camp enables the vendor to be close to its distributor, Mindware.
