Saudi-based Ta’jeer Company has signed up with Rekaz Systems to implement an IT infrastructure to support its rapid expansion plans. The solution, which consists of Internet-based Islamic Suite developed by Rekaz Systems and Oracle Financials, will automate the operations of the Islamic financial services company.

When installed, the solution will connect all of Ta’jeer’s processes to the Internet, managing back office accounting processes and front office leasing, instalment and workflow.

“Ta’jeer’s Shariah-compliant financing solutions are growing in popularity among consumers in the Kingdom; therefore, we are required to increase our number of branch outlets to properly serve this growing customer base,” says Dr. Saleh Malaikah, chairman of Ta’jeer.

“The web-based Rekaz Islamic Suite solution from Rekaz Systems will empower our expansion by allowing our employees located across the Kingdom to access mission-critical data at Internet speeds. This solution meets our long term objectives -- to be a paperless organisation, as well as provide high value management information reporting,” adds Dr. Malaikah.

Rekaz Systems’ CEO Abdulla Al-Mulaifi adds that the deal is “Rekaz Islamic Suite shall enable Ta’jeer to realise strategic benefits from increased internal efficiencies, higher employee productivity, and improved customer service.”
