Imagine your car dealer offering to service your car for free, no matter hold old it is and whether its warranty has expired or not. That is exactly what Acer is offering its PC customers in the Middle East, thanks to a new programme called Acer Care Camp, which kicks-off in Kuwait this week.

From May 21-23, Acer PC owners in Kuwait can take their machines to Acer’s Authorised Service Provider, Al-Sarraf Computers Services Co, for a service. Help on offer will include diagnosing hardware problems, addressing software cases related to pre-loaded operating systems, consultation on virus prevention amongst a host of other free services.

Acer will also provide spare parts at concessional prices during this programme if any of the problems are hardware-related.

Future dates for the Acer Care Camp have not been announced, but the programme will be rolled-out across the region this year.
