Fujitsu Siemens recently conducted two seminars in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, dealing with a host of issues including manageability and scalability and emerging market trends. The vendor highlighted the importance of such seminars in the continually developing world of IT.

“Increased use of information technology has brought drastic changes in the manner in which organisations conduct their business. With more and more businesses adopting electronic means of transaction, the ‘e’ has begun to dominate our lives both in the professional and personal sector,” said Gernot Fels, head of information & consulting, Fujitsu Siemens Computers. “Accordingly we need to rethink our business strategies and develop technologies that will include scalable modules that allow for greater manageability and integration options while offering better performance.”

During his presentation, Fels highlighted the importance of IT in improving business efficiency and controlling costs.

“Fujitsu Siemens feels it is important to educate and inform the IT-related decision makers and senior executives about the changing technologies in these areas so they can devise and develop the strategies best suited to their working environments,” added Jacquie Carson, sales & marketing director, Fujitsu Siemens Computers Gulf region. “These seminars are important to keep members of the business and technology communities well versed in the ever changing face of IT.”
