Microsoft offers CRM solutions to SMBs

Microsoft will deliver Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM), the vendor's first business solution built on .NET through its subsidiary Microsoft Great Plains Middle East by the first quarter of 2003.

Microsoft will deliver Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM), the vendor's first business solution built on .NET through its subsidiary Microsoft Great Plains Middle East by the first quarter of 2003. The new product is expected to enable small-and-medium-sized businesses in the region to build more profitable customer relationships through increased sales effectiveness and more consistent customer service.

"The introduction of the new CRM offering represents a substantial business opportunity for our partners to deliver an entirely new category of integrated solutions specifically designed for the unique needs of our small and medium-sized customers," stated Chris Harris, managing director, Microsoft Great Plains Middle East. The new product is designed for rapid deployment, ease of use, and integration with Microsoft Office and
Microsoft Great Plains' back-office solutions, increasing information reliability, employee usage and productivity.

"Small-and-medium-sized businesses in the region want to continue to benefit from the power of their existing Microsoft applications, as well as profit from its latest leading-edge technology offerings — Microsoft CRM meets both customer demands," said Ashok Sharma, SMB manager, Microsoft Gulf. Available as a standalone product as well as an integrated solution, Microsoft CRM will be implemented through Microsoft Great Plains' reselling partner channel.
