Avaya is aiming to simplify the management process for users of its INDeX SME converged communications system with the release of its INDeX Management Console (IMC). The Windows-based software tool provides users with a single interface to manage and modify areas of their network, including user numbering, call distribution groups and system speed dial numbers.

Additionally, the IMC will offer users a single point of configuration, access to administration files through the Microsoft tree database and a simple installation procedure.

“We are continuing to invest heavily in our INDeX product to ensure that it remains a competitive SME converged network system for many years to come. The IMC demonstrates our commitment to the product and our desire to build upon its leadership status,” says Dave Robinson, director, Global SME solutions, Avaya.
