STAR, Asia’s leading multi-platform content and service provider, has announced the launch of TechTV in the Middle East.

The 24-hour cable network is dedicated to showcasing the impact technology has on our everyday lives and will be available as part of the STAR Select bouquet currently distributed on both of ADD’s Arabsat and Nilesat platforms. TechTV will also be available to subscribers of the Pehla, Firstnet and Al Awael bouquets via the Kids & Knowledge pack and the Gold Pack, which is also available on both of ADD’s satellite platforms.

“We are thrilled to be the first and only platform in the region that is able to offer such a unique and entertaining channel to all its viewers,” says Altaf Alimohamed, president of STAR Digital Platform Group. “TechTV is a great asset to both STAR Select and the ADD Kids and Knowledge Bouquets.”

STAR will be phasing out the History Channel to accommodate the launch of TechTV.
