Information on Nokia mobile phones is now available to consumers in the Middle East through a bi-lingual Web site Through the Web site, consumers can keep in touch with information on the latest Nokia mobile phones as well as other regional activities carried out by the company.

“The Internet can be a powerful communications tool – but only if those who are expected to use it can understand the message you are trying to convey,” stated Eddie Maalouf, marketing manager at Nokia Middle East. “Using the Web, companies can interact with people across the world, but without a local flavour the full potential of this medium is not realised. In launching, we feel that we are investing in the future of the region and providing a valuable resource for everyone in the Middle East.”

The Web site includes interactive maps for identifying Nokia mobile phones available in different parts of the Middle East region. For contact details on the closest official Nokia stockist, the search can be narrowed down through the Dealer Locator facility on the site. To mark the launch of the new Web site, Nokia is also giving away 55 mobile phones to registrants this month.
