Responding to the increasing demand for network training in the region, and more specifically among its own employees, the Etisalat Academy has signed a partnership agreement with regional training house, Synergy Professional Services.

The partnership will enable the Etisalat Academy to offer Cisco security and network training courses, including Cisco Advanced Security Certification and Cisco Certified Networking Professional, to both Etisalat employees and other attendants of the academy.

“The Etisalat Academy is continually looking to increase the breadth of training and expertise offered. We were looking for a training partner with the necessary regional expertise, who could offer the highest level of Cisco certifications and a proven track record of success,” said Dr. Doaa Fares, general manager of the Etisalat Academy. “Synergy Professional Services provides the Academy with all of these attributes and will add a new dimension to networking and security courses.”

“Synergy Professional Services recognises the urgent need to address the growing skills gap, to maintain the position of this region in the global IT market,” explained Melad Ghabrial, president and CEO of Synergy. “These courses are one move to make sure we keep pace with networking and security developments that are vital to many organisations in the region. We are very pleased to partner with such a major regional centre of excellence and think that the Etisalat Academy provides a perfect forum to address these training needs.”
