Lebanese waste treatment company, Averda, has deployed a number of Oracle solutions as it looks to streamline its business operations. Hyperlink will implement the solutions, which include Oracle Financials and Oracle Human Resources and the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

If all goes to plan, the Oracle solution will result in a major improvement in corporate reporting for Averda, something that will ensure that executives have access to online reports any time of the year to determine profits, revenues, PL statement and cash flow. In addition, the Oracle database will permit Averda executives to manipulate and simulate data in any way they need.

Malek Sukkar, vice president of Averda, believes that the Oracle solutions will provide a fully integrated business management solution capable of integrating its diverse business processes. He also believes that Hyperlink will be able to add value as an established Oracle partner.

“We were looking for a dependable company that would be able to offer us top quality enhanced services and Hyperlink, with its long standing reputation and its strategic collaboration with Oracle, was our instinctive choice,” he says.

Hani Harik, president of Hyperlink, believes that the Oracle solution will give the waste treatment company a competitive edge. “The benefits of implementing this solution are manifold. It would provide the advantage of viewing the performance of the whole group from different angles and different levels, which makes all the difference in business today,” he says.
