Novell Middle East and Africa has structural changes to allow it to better address growing regional demand, according to the company. Among the changes are a number of new appointments, improved support facilities and better co-operation with Novell Europe and South Africa.

“At the moment, the Middle East is probably one of the most dynamic markets in the world when it comes to technology solutions for business,” said Richard Beytagh, VP for Novell MEA. “Expectations among our current and potential client base are high and we are committed to deliver to meet these expectations.”

The moves follow restructure of operations in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, and the acquisition of several new clients, including National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Bass Hotels and the Hyatt Group.

“The Middle East team has clearly shown what can be achieved when businesses become aware of the unique advantages offered by Novell in terms of security, systems integrity, support and flexibility,” said Peter Jamieson, who joins Novell MEA as managing consultant. “I am pleased to have the opportunity to work towards delivering effective Novell solutions that will drive business advantages.”
