Vertscape has unveiled a web services solution for the medical sector. The snappily titled eXtended enterprise Relationship Management (XeRM) e-business suite is designed to operate in environments ranging from small physician practices to large hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.

The solution includes a number of health specific segments, including patient information management; patient self-care and help desk; internal administration and workflow approvals, and appointment scheduling and reminders.

“Availability of accurate information at the earliest possible time is crucial to the efficient working of the medical industry.
