Sybase and Seven Seas tie up

E-business solutions provider Sybase Middle East has announced that it has tied up with Dubai-based Seven Seas to expand its presence in the Middle East region.

E-business solutions provider Sybase Middle East has announced that it will expand its presence in the Middle East by partnering with Dubai-based Seven Seas. The partnership sees Seven Seas delivering a regional presence for product delivery, service and support that will allow Sybase to aggressively address the surge in market demand for its e-business solutions.

“Our partnership with Seven Seas, will give us the opportunity to leverage on Seven Seas’ extensive resources and support to deliver our best in class solutions any time, anywhere. We believe that this partnership will deliver significant value to the flourishing e-business market in the Middle East,” said George Khouri, managing director, Sybase Middle East.”

The partnership will enable Seven Seas to resell the range of Sybase technologies, including EAStudio, EAServer and Adaptive Server Enterprise as well as iAnywhere wireless technology. Over the last six years, Seven Seas has been using Sybase technology as its principal software platform in the development of its hospitality software, Momento 2000.

The features built into Momento 2000 such as wireless, web access and business intelligence makes Sybase an ideal choice as it offers excellent cost advantage and technology synergy,” said Mehboob Hamza, director of people and strategy, Seven Seas. “With the rise in customer demand for totally bespoke solutions, Seven Seas is leveraging on its in-house Software development capability to create exact fit solutions to the customer requirements,” added Hamza.
