A web site has been developed by Syntax Digital to chronicle the life and works of the late Khalid Shoman, a leading figure in the Arab banking world. The bilingual site (www.khalid-shoman.org) commemorates the life Khalid Shoman and his role and mission in the Arab Bank and the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation. The site also presents excerpts from Shoman's messages in the Arab Bank's annual reports throughout the years and press articles published after he passed away on the 30th of June 2001.

"Working on this site was a challenging creative experience for us. Our design attempts to strike a balance between documentation and story telling, text and photographs, remembrance and celebration. We are grateful for having been part of this effort," said Salua Qidan, SYNTAX's founding partner.

Ahmad Humeid, CEO of SYNTAX Digital added: "At a time where there is a lot of international interest in the Arab world, we think that using the web as a publishing medium is an appropriate decision. We are witnessing the emergence of new forms of publishing that are being used by families and individuals to spread their message and strengthen their communities. This site in remembrance of Khalid Shoman is a pioneering project in that respect.”
