Enterprise storage player, STME has signed up to Tejari.com, the de-facto government procurement portal. By using the portal, the systems integrator plans to boost sales, reduce transactions costs and bid on any Dubai-centric government tenders.

“STME has joined the Tejari online exchange so that we can provide our best-of-breed enterprise storage solutions to the rapidly growing number of Tejari member companies — especially the UAE government departments,” said Andrew Calthorpe, sales director of STME.

“In the case of our UAE operations, for example, our strategic decision to trade on Tejari.com will allow STME to participate in local tenders and assist us in our continuing efforts to develop long-lasting relationships with all government departments,” added Calthorpe.

Over the last 18-months, Tejari has continued to build momentum both regionally and internationally and escalated its training efforts to ensure that traders on Tejari are maximizing their benefits as part of the marketplace.

“We are delighted to have STME, with its considerable regional experience in enterprise storage solutions, trading on Tejari.com. The company has established a reputation for superior service in the IT sector, and we believe that STME will further its position in this regard by trading electronically on Tejari.com,” said Lubna Al Qasimi, managing director of Tejari.com.

“Tejari.com is committed to providing the region’s community of buyers and suppliers with a single point of contact for all electronic trade, and this element will provide great benefit to a company such as STME, which aims to increase the size of its market share across the region,” added Al Qasimi.
