As Acer looks to further grow its Egyptian channel it has appointment Basem Ewaiwi as its latest country sales manager.

As Acer looks to further grow its Egyptian channel it has appointment Basem Ewaiwi as its latest country sales manager. Withs more than 16 years experience in managing channel operations in the Middle East, it is hoped that Ewaiwi will build on the company’s strong market presence and grow the businesses during 2002.

Eric Tien, managing director at Acer explains that Ewaiwi has significant channel development experiences, especially within the Saudi market, and that these skills will be key as the company looks to develop its Egyptian operation.

“Egypt is one of the largest and most critical markets in the Middle East, and with the new governmental initiatives supporting IT spread awareness in the country, Acer’s channel operations in Egypt will see remarkable improvement and enhancement in the future,” says Eric Tien, managing director, Acer.

“The Egyptian market has great potential and I look forward to further strengthening Acer’s market share in this region. I will be working closely with our channel partners to introduce new strategies and participate in major IT projects and exhibitions to further establish Acer products and solutions,” adds Ewaiwi.
