BMC Software streamline partner programs

BMC Software has streamlined its partner and developer programs to improve the ease with which participants bring products to market.

BMC Software has streamlined its partner and developer programs, MarketZone and Developer Connection to improve the ease with which participants bring products to market. The vendor has reduced entry fees, and is also planning to invest in additional marketing and distribution for partner-developed products.

BMC’s MarketZone program assists the development and distribution of third party products that are complementary to BMC’s own offerings. The MarketZone program has been restructured providing partners with three tiers from which to select their participation level.

“Ensuring customers, developers and partners can take full advantage of their BMC technology as they work towards their individual business goals is a primary component of our programs,” said Doug Pushard, vice president, corporate development, BMC Software. “In addition to making the program more cost efficient for companies, we have expanded our programs to allow for greater flexibility and customisation, providing a more tailored approach when it comes to meeting their individual needs”

Additionally, BMC’s Developer Connection program has been extended to provide participants with support and extended functionality for BMC Software’s Control-SA, Control-D and Control-M solutions.
