Electronics retailer Jacky’s Electronics LLC has confirmed its appointment as the key Daewoo dealer in this region, soon to promote and sell Daewoo 42” plasma displays plus the Daewoo DVD home theatre system.

Woong Dong, managing director, Daewoo ME and Soni Tolani, executive director, Jacky’s Electronics, announced the imminent Middle East launch in a joint statement.

“This will help Daewoo in achieving its desired market share and positioning the product to the set target customers,” said Dong. “By early next year, Daewoo is also planning to launch 55” and 60” projection monitors in the UAE market.”

And just who might those customers be? Plasma monitors are notoriously ‘high end’ products in this market, even with Daewoo’s side speakers and desktop stand thrown into the deal as standard.

Daewoo’s response is a renewed effort to get the price of plasma down to affordable levels. Jacky’s Electronics believes it can target end-users with a “very competitive price.”

“We are promoting the brand by offering 42” plasma TVs at a mere AED 19,999, with the Daewoo Dolby Digital home cinema system,” explained Shivam Goyal, retail manager, Jacky’s Electronics.

“We are glad to offer a quality product that is aesthetically superior, economical and with sound that is worth experiencing,” said Soni Tolani, executive director, Jacky’s Electronics.

“It can be used as display boards, information guides, presentation aids and even advertising within financial institutions, hospitals, schools, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants.”
