KeyStone Learning Systems, part of Global Learning Systems, has announced a partnership with Edutech ME for it to be its distributor in the Gulf. The agreement includes Edutech offering product and pricing information, technical support, customer service and distribution. In addition Educate will host a local Web site and a local telephone contact line.

“We’re very pleased with the opportunity we have to work with Edutech,” said Joseph Ouahib-Gilbert, international channel sales manager for KeyStone. “This relationship will further strengthen KeyStone’s presence throughout the Persian Gulf and help us to encourage people to learn technology when and where they want. It will also enable customers to purchase KeyStone products in local currency and at better prices,” he continued.

“Partnering with KeyStone enables our customers to have access to more than 1200 CD-ROM and video titles for developing IT skills,” said AS Karim, managing director, Edutech ME. “Countries in this region are part of the new economy where education and training play a key role in enhancing IT skills.”

Gilbert-Ouahib added that the benefits of the partnership should be found in bringing practical, relevant, affordable, content-rich learning to hi-tech learners. These courses embody the KeyStone blended learning solutions based approach to self-paced education, he added.
