Samsung signs distribution deal with ASBIS
Distributor ASBIS has announced a deal with Samsung Semiconductors for the region. Under the agreement, which is already in operation, ASBIS will distribute memory modules from Samsung in the UAE, Egypt and a number of other territories across the Middle East, North Africa and Central and Southern Europe.

“Samsung Semiconductors, through its partnership with ASBIS, is now positioned to aggressively grow across the EMEA region,” said Young Lee, director of sales for Samsung Semiconductor Europe. “ASBIS has the unique ability to deliver quality computer components in al countries of this region, through one central purchasing structure.”
The distributor has already made its first shipment of Samsung products, with the delivery of a consignment of Rambus, PC133, DDR and SRAM memory modules and TFT-LCD monitors last week.
Mark Hayes, director of marketing for ASBIS said: “We are very proud to be adding Samsung Semiconductors to our product portfolio in out markets. They will form a key component of our desktop products group.”
