This Ramadan, ITP, the publishers of Windows User Magazine Middle East and Charged Middle East Magazine, in conjunction with sponsors Emirates Computers, Nokia and activity Zone hosts Intel, LG, and Hewlett Packard, bring you a Middle East first: Future Tent, in association with Emirates Computers.

Future Tent will transport you to a world where you are a top movie star, a professional football player, an adventurer, a net surfer, a cover model or an e-govt. expert.

ITP is also delighted to announce that the Khaleej Times is the official English daily paper of Future Tent.

This innovative concept from the people behind the Emirates Computers Technology Fashion Show, the success story of this Gitex Shopper, combines the ancient customs and traditions of Ramadan with the electronics and digital gadgetry of tomorrow. In keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, the interactive tent will feature entertaining and educational activities for family and friends.

Nine equal sections surround Dubai’s first Internet Shisha café, The Arabia Online Café, including a Gaming Zone, PC Sections, a Mobile Communication Zone, Digital Home area, In-car Technology, Digital Photography, a TV Studio and an Online Shop.

Emirates Computers and Nokia, the main sponsors of Future Tent, set you on the path to adventure in the Mobile Communication sector through their ‘crystal maze’ type games with great opportunities to win big prizes.

Each game will feature one of their four main transmission methods; Voice, SMS, Internet and fax. Mr. Jo Thabet, VP product marketing, Emirates Computers, claimed: “We are delighted to be the main sponsors of Future Tent. This is the sort of innovative concept in marketing that is increasing Emirates Computers’ reputation, as well as our turnover.”

Future Tent will run from 22nd November until 14th December 2001 in Hall 1 of the Dubai World Trade Centre in conjunction with the Fawanees Tent and the Fawanees Village.

Sherif Mekhemer, Corporate Manager – Hospitality for the Dubai World Trade Centre stated that, “The DWTC Fawanees Tent is historically extremely popular, offering Ramadan favourites where all the family can enjoy a wide range of traditional Ramadan specialities of food and beverage in an atmosphere of friendliness, hospitality and good cheer.

Celebrating the Fawanees tent’s 5th anniversary, we are delighted to bring two new dimensions with the addition of the Fawanees Global Village, featuring a unique shopping opportunity with a wide range of products from around the world, organised by MEDIAC and the Future Tent, organised by ITP.”

“We are particularly pleased that ITP has chosen to join us to highlight the traditions of Ramadan and introduce the Future Tent,” he added, “in association with Emirates Computers, as an opportunity for the entire family to come and enjoy themselves.”
