PwC reinforces e-learning services with SmartForce alliance

PwC Consulting positions SmartForce's product range at the core of its learning services portfolio.

SmartForce has struck a strategic alliance with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Consulting to promote its range of e-learning solutions. As part of the deal PwC will position SmartForce’s as a core component of its overall learning services portfolio.

PwC Consulting, with its team of 500 consultants is already one of the largest users of SmartForce software. As part of the agreement, PwC will build on its existing base of experience with the e-learning vendor’s product suite to deliver comprehensive solutions.

“Our clients — ranging from large corporations to government agencies—are looking for tangible, measurable business benefits from their investments in e-learning, such as cost reduction, acceleration of product development cycles, and overall business transformation,” said Nicole Gardner, a partner and the global leader of PwC Consulting’s learning solutions group.

“SmartForce shares with us a vision of driving business value through customised solutions that align learning with strategic business goals.”

The deal with PwC offers SmartForce a new channel to market, said Greg Priest, chairman and CEO of SmartForce. “We are delighted that PwC has joined our extensive list of high-calibre partners and we look forward to realising the significant potential that this relationship brings,” he added.
