Having secured some high level customers in 2001, Internet software and content management company Horizons is at Gitex this year to demonstrate its recent web projects and advancements.

Primary among them is a new web site designed for Dr Yousef Al Qaradawi.

The site was built using technology from PublishArabia.com; software that, according to the company, allows rich-media web sites to be built by those with little knowledge of the Internet.

The real sophistication of Horizon’s recent project is in its innovative site design and navigation. Horizons told the Gitex Times: “Users can browse books using a tree that contains the chapters and sections of a book, while retaining the larger picture using the tree.”

Earlier in 2001, Horizons completed a web design for Al Jazeera
