As the number of Middle Eastern companies outsourcing their software needs to the sub-continent grows, many Indian software development companies have realised that the region represents a significant market opportunity.

Hyderabad-based Focus SoftNet is one of these companies, and it is currently using Gitex to tell the region about its products and services.

Best known for its commercial accounting software and Focus5 application for the mid-range ERP software market, Focus SoftNet has recently branched out from this core base to incorporate new products for the Gulf region.

Ali Hyder, executive vice president, Focus SoftNet, explains that this is due to the company’s desire to expand operations within the Middle East. "The change of our policies and strategy to solution developers is the main focus of our participation at Gitex," he says.
