Information storage system provider, EMC, is offering free seminars on the subject of disaster recovery. Visitors can also expect real-life demonstrations of two of the hottest storage technologies in demand across the Middle East: storage area networks (SANs) and network-attached storage (NAS).

“At EMC's Gitex debut, we're focusing on both community outreach and education through daily seminars, as well as hands-on technology demonstrations to show regional businesses how to manage and protect their vital information,” stated Thierry Louesse, regional general manager of EMC.

The aim is to showcase how companies in the region can create business continuance strategies to manage and protect rapidly increasing amounts of key business data.

EMC will also host complimentary seminars on "Frictionless Access to Information" from 15 - 18 October with its partner STME, as part of the Channel Forum.

For more information, go to the MDS exhibition area at GITEX, Hall 4, J4-3.
