At Gitex Dubai, Mideast Data Systems Group has announced the opening of the MDS Call Centre. Equipped with 12 stations, the centre which has undergone beta testing over the last six months, is ready to go full throttle.

Help desk services will be provided to individuals through a dedicated phone number (90001727). Small-and-medium enterprises will be offered a similar service. For large corporate clients, outsourcing of help desk activities will be made possible and telemarketing services will be available as well. Clients will also be allowed to lease the centre’s infrastructure.

“We know we are not the first to set-up a call centre in this region, but we are the first to establish a centre staffed with IT-certified professionals dedicated to supporting IT users in different fields,” says Nabil Kotob, manager, MDS Call Centre. Sami Abi Esber, group executive Director of MDS, UAE adds “MDS Group has been a faithful partner to Gitex and we received an award from His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to commemorate 20 successful years together with Gitex Dubai.”
