From its beginnings as a peripherals supplier some 10 years back, Spectec has thrived on a hearty diet of professional management and efficient service, growing to become one of the top three notebook manufacturers in Taiwan. The notebook set to feature throughout the week is the N20U.

With an UPGA2 PIII processor, Intel 440BX chip set, FDD of 1.44MB and 6-30GB HDD (removable), the N20U boasts power matched with excellent connectivity. Along with standard ports, including USB, both IEEE 1394 and Bluetooth connectivity are provided, leaving the N20U amply equipped to meet the task of high speed, no nonsense data transfer, and providing a platform for external multimedia devices, such as a digital video camera, to perform to potential.

A 13.3” TFT screen supports 1024x768 resolution and 64K colours. the whole package is delivered in a lovely, lightweight 1.9kg
