Also in hall six is Executrain, an approved organisation of the Bahrain Institute of Marketing.

Executrain was created in 1983 with the aim of providing Internet courses in IT applications.

Executrain offers its customers access to online libraries of information and publications on courses focused on office productivity.

In addition, the company offers technical training on a range of office PC applications such as Microsoft DTP [desktop publishing] and SDA [standard desktop applications], in addition to Lotus and Oracle software.

Executrain general manager, Moustafa Kadous, told the Gitex Times: “Our unique benefit is if we add titles or information to our libraries, the customer will get access to it for no extra cost.”

As part of the courses offered, Executrain offers Microsoft MOUS [Microsoft Office User Specialist] training, which covers Excel, Access, Word, Power Point and Outlook applications.

Indeed, the company was given recognition recently by Microsoft for enrolling the most students to the MOUS course of any organisation in the world, and is to establish a new office in Egypt.
