Hughes Networks is the world leader in broadband satellite network solutions for both businesses and consumers. The company has installed more than 400,000 receivers in over 85 countries using its Direcway system.

The company has just announced a tie-up with Hertzinger Datanet of the Netherlends, to provide a broadband satellite service. Marketed under the Direcway brand, the company hopes to dominate the European market as in the US.

“Hughes has an excellent reputation and the most advanced internet by broadband satellite capabilities. By offering Direcway services, we know we are providing our enterprise customers with unsurpassed quality and reliability,” said Pieter Hertzinger, MD of Hertzinger.

The company’s next innovation is its plan to introduce high-speed bandwidth on demand satellite services next year. The company envisions broadband and the associated use of broadband-intensive applications will be availible on its Spaceway system to consumers and enterprise alike.
