With security becoming an issue for the Middle East, the demand for ID solutions is growing. Datacard Group is hoping that its products can help address this demand.

The US company will be demonstrating a range of ID card solutions at Gitex, including its latest offering, an easy-to-use digital camera. The camera is linked by USB to a Datacard integrated identification system, that can automatically size, crop, and capture images with a single click of the mouse. The system is designed to easily create ID cards for schools, government, healthcare providers and other enterprises.

“The USB camera package removes several manual steps that slow productivity and introduce errors during image capture. It is the ideal solution for organisations that need high-quality imaging from an easy to use system,” explained Sandy Baxa, senior product specialist.
