National Bank of Bahrain has announced that its nationwide network of 38 ATMs now accepts the entire suite of payment card products. This includes Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Plus, MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus, and Amex.

National Bank of Bahrain is believed to have the largest network of ATMs across the country. It has its own bank machines and also has ATMs located at various public places throughout Bahrain.

“This shows a real commitment to our customers and recognition of the desire by today’s consumers to have easy access to their money,” said Hassan Ali Juma, the Bank’s managing director. “We consider opening up our ATM machines to the full range of internationally accepted and locally issued cards as strengthening our partnerships, not only with our customers but also with merchants in Bahrain and with the three major card franchises.”

The Bank’s ATMs are also linked to the Bahrain BENEFIT network and to GCCNET, which allows cards issued by all other banks in Bahrain and the GCC to be used throughout the Bank’s network.
