Czech aircraft manufacturer, Aero Vodochody S.A., will showcase its L159 ALCA advanced light combat aircraft for the first time in the Middle East at Dubai 2001. The 7th international aerospace exhibition takes place November 4-8.

The L159 is Aero’s latest global trainer/light attack aircraft.
It will take part daily in the daily flying displays that form an integral part of the air show.

"The Aero L 159 ALCA is the one of the most advanced aircraft in its
category,” said Pavla Kolinova, new business acquisition, Aero Vodochody S.A. “We are sure that its sleek profile and slick performance will make it a popular fixture in the daily flying displays."

The air show, a major bi-annual event, is going ahead as planned, despite the September 11 attacks on the USA. A one day event on IT in the aviation industry also takes place on November 3.
