Cooling unit manufacturers Everest Industrial has signed up Emirates Computers to roll out an ERP system to provide better management of its systems. The Sharjah-based company will deploy eEpicor, which will govern all financial activity in the plant and offices of Everest.

“eEpicor serves Everest’s long term vision in developing the IT infrastructure in the front office and also meets the Everest matrix selection in the back office,” said Ziad Boukly, manager of Information Systems at Everest Industrial. “Emirates Computers was our natural choice because it offers solutions that match our intention to provide our system with best practices. With Epicor, we will get high reliability in management information systems, increase the system control without complication and optimize the return on investment.”

The first stage of the deployment will take until the end of the year, and will be carried out in three stages. Initially core financials, e-financials and manufacturing will be rolled out, but stages two and three will cover payroll and e-front office respectively. Everest has increased in size and operations recently, and decided to implement an ERP solution to better manage operations.

“Emirates Computers has more than 20 years of experience in developing and implementing cost-effective and highly scalable ERP solutions for a wide range of customers in the Middle East. Everest is a progressive organization and has selected the eEpicor solution due to its versatile suite of highly adaptable, totally integrated accounting applications which provides enhanced flexibility, low cost of ownership and fast implementation, with the scalability to grow with customer requirements,” said Hani Harik, president, Emirates Computers.

The Microsoft SQL server based solution is also web-enabled, and will allow remote management of Everest’s two sites. Manufacturing resources and scheduling will also be handled by the application. Emirates will also have responsibility for training financial staff to use the system.

“Emirates Computers’ is really capable of handling the tasks well with adequate emphasis on the quality issue, the solutions provided and the time commitment,” said Boukly.
