JCCS completes SR 12 million education project

Saudi-based systems integrator deploys 2000 PCs at multiple locations across the Kingdom. Deal is thought to be one of the largest PC deals in the educational sector.

Jeraisy Computer & Communication Services (JCCS) has completed the rollout of 95 computer labs across Saudi Arabia, for the Presidency of Girls Education.

The project, worth an estimated SR 12 million, involved the deployment of 2000 PCs, at multiple sites and also the installation of servers and software.

According to Jeraisy CEO, Ibrahim Al Moaiqel, the project was one of the company's most successful ever.

“JCCS will focus its efforts on serving this vital, growing and important sector. We are also obligated in putting the computer users benefits at the top of our priorities and set the pace for the future for computer usage to be faster and more efficient,” explained Al Moaiqel.

“This project illustrates the Girl’s Education commitment in the introducing computer courses in the school curriculum,” said Abdulrahman Al Rawaf, Director of the Computer Department at the Presidency of Girls Education.

“This new project is the first step towards setting up computer laboratories in all the girls schools Kingdom-wide,” he added.
