Canon Middle East will be demonstrating the latest office equipment and high tech products for the consumer and professional at Gitex. The undoubted highlight is Canon’s latest generation of digital copiers, the “iR” series.

Canon’s iR series, which includes the iR8500, iR2200, iR2800, iR3300 and colour IRC2100, allows office workers to dramatically simplify document handling.

These powerful multifunction devices, businesses can take a document and copy it, send it as a fax or e-mail, store it directly into a SQL database or print it to another printer from a single user-friendly interface.

The stand will also feature the CLC5000 colour laser copier and BJW9000 wide format printer for the professional markets. Other products on show include its latest LCD projectors with the TurboBright system, Canon’s latest series of stylish and ultra-compact desktop scanners, the S-Series of Bubble Jet printers, faxes and multifunction devices.

For the creative crowd, Canon will be showing off its wide assortment of optical products, including digital cameras, camcorders and compact SLR cameras for both the keen amateur and the professional.

The company will update customers on the progress of its “imaging across networks” strategy, unveiled at last year’s show, which aimed to “revolutionise the modern workplace.”
