Epson will showcase its latest products at Gitex 2001. The company’s imaging, printer and projector technologies are all set to appear on stand.

The Epson Print Image Matching technology will be at the forefront. Developed by Seiko Epson and leading digital camera vendors, the technology links the digital still camera and the PC printer, giving the camera control over printing, with data usually lost in the process being passed right through to the prints.

Also on show will be Epson’s latest home/small office inkjet printers as the company unveils its next generation products, including the Epson Stylus C20, Stylus C40 inkjets and the high quality Stylus C60 and Stylus C70.

Of particular interest will be the Stylus C80, which boasts a printing speed of up to 20 pages per minute black, and 13 pages per minute colour.

Backing these home/small offerings up is the company’s dot matrix printers. Ever popular, dot matrix technology offers modern, durable and economical printers outputting high quality business documentation.

The stand will feature Epson’s DFX 8500, DLQ 3500 and LQ300+ offerings. Scanners on show this year include the Epson Perfection 1250, 1650 and 2450, with a major new feature being the ‘scan to web’ facility, allowing users to scan straight to Epson’s photo sharing website at a single touch of a button.

Projectors such as the Epson EMP 800 AND EMP810 that feature the company’s latest Colour Reality technology will also be on display.
