Powerware attacks e-business space

Invensys Powerware is importing a host of ‘never-seen-before’ products for Gitex this year. The uninterruptible power supply player (UPS) player will be showcasing its 9305, a Series 9 three-phase, online, double conversion product.

Invensys Powerware is importing a host of ‘never-seen-before’ products for Gitex this year. The uninterruptible power supply player (UPS) player will be showcasing its 9305, a Series 9 three-phase, online, double conversion product.

The PW 9305 is for those customers looking for high-performance, centralised power protection for applications existing in the server room environment. The UPS comes with hot sync capacity making it the ideal battery-box for e-business environments. The patented Hot Sync technology enables an easy and smooth parallel configuration of up to four UPS modules.

“The Powerware 9305 Hot Sync is just what the 24x7 world has been waiting for. It combines the patented Hot Sync technology with Powerware’s award winning on-line double conversion topology to offer critical IT, ISP’s, telecom and electrical engineering environments the most reliable and flexible UPS solution available,” said Jorma Mannerkoski, product marketing director, EMEA.

PW 9340 is available in 80, 100 and 130kVA models and offers the IT/enterprise and industrial/harsh environments solid high tech power protection 24/7 at a very competitive price.

According to Andy Gray, the Middle East sales manager, “the Powerware was a resounding success at last year’s Gitex. We were very proud to launch it at last year’s show and look forward to showing you the product in action on the stand this year.”

Also making their debut at Gitex 2001 will be the Powerware 9125 RM (rackmount), the Powerware 9120, and the Powerware 3110.

The PW 9125 RM is a single-phase Series 9 double conversion UPS, especially designed for mission critical rackmount applications.
Available in power ratings of up to 2kVA, PW 9125 RM promises premiere protection, longer backup time, remote manageability, installation flexibility and superior service all available in a real rackmount mechanical pack.
